Built for the trades in the Kettle Moraine.
Wales is a village of a thousand houses at the crossroads of Highway 83 and Highway 18, with Kettle Moraine High School, the Glacial Drumlin Trail, and the Ice Age Trail running through it and the Southern Kettle Moraine forest at its back door. Almost everyone is on a well and a septic system. The lots are big, the driveways are long, and the houses are 1970s ranches and 1990s two-stories on land that used to be pasture. A contractor based here works Wales, Genesee, Dousman, and the town of Delafield as one market, because that's how the customers think of it.
The median Wales house was built in 1977, and 80.1% of the 1,039 units predate 2000, so the work is second roofs, second furnaces, drainfield replacement, well pump and pressure tank swaps, and the long-driveway asphalt and concrete that comes with acre lots. 84.8% owner-occupied, Census median value $399,400. These are homeowners who know their neighbors and ask them first. The website's job is to be the second thing they check and to confirm what the neighbor said.
That's the site I build, and the price is on the page instead of behind a call: the $2,500 implementation, waived through Oct 21 if you start a plan by then, then $97 a month for Run. Grow is $297 if you want missed-call text-back, review requests, and the monthly Google profile work handled too. Every page is per service, written from what you tell me, with your Business Profile and listings wired in so the map and the website agree.

Fixed and published, not invented once someone sees how the truck out front looks. For context, what a contractor website around here actually costs:
A templated build: a theme flipped on Wix or WordPress with your logo dropped in. Profile, listings, and tracking rarely included.
A custom build from a regional agency, one time, with a monthly retainer quoted after the fact for anything ongoing.
Run, mine. A website built for your trade, your Google Business Profile done properly, the listings that matter (Google, Facebook, Apple Maps, Bing), forms that email you the moment a lead lands, and a lead inbox. Missed-call text-back, review requests, and the monthly agent work are on Grow at $297. Built during the trial, on your own domain.
Both plans are itemized on the plans page. You own everything.
Fourteen days of trial. Then the honest part.

What I know about searching from Wales.
Google doesn't really have a Wales map pack. The village is too small, so a search for "plumber Wales WI" returns Delafield, Waukesha, and Mukwonago contractors, and the same is true for Genesee and Dousman. That's the opening. A contractor with a Wales or Genesee address, a complete Business Profile, and a few reviews that name the village is the most local result Google can find, and it shows them. Fixing the profile is the first week of the trial for exactly that reason.
The well and septic lane is bigger here than almost anywhere in the county. Wales, Genesee, and the town of Delafield are almost entirely unsewered, and "septic inspection Wales WI" or "well pump Genesee" are searches with nobody competing for them who wrote a real page. Those pages go up during the trial. The same goes for the trail and forest edge: erosion control, retaining walls, and drainage on the moraine slopes are searches the Waukesha landscapers don't rank for because they don't say the words.
Last, Kettle Moraine High School and the sports fields draw families from Wales, Genesee, Dousman, Ottawa, and the town of Delafield to one place every week, which is why a contractor who names all five on the site and sponsors one team ends up known across the whole district. The live sites linked on this page are the proof; run them through a speed test yourself before you decide anything.
Questions Wales contractors actually ask.
How much does a contractor website cost in Wales?
There are no agencies in Wales, so quotes come from Waukesha or Milwaukee: $2,500 to $7,500 for a custom site, then hosting and edits. Freelancers run $500 to $2,000. Mine is the $2,500 implementation, waived through Oct 21 for plans that start by then, then $97 a month, the same number for everyone, and I'm ten minutes away.
Wales is tiny. Is a website even worth it for a business here?
Yes, because the site isn't for Wales alone. It's for Wales, Genesee, Dousman, Ottawa, and the town of Delafield together, which is a market of several thousand houses on wells and septic that no bigger contractor is writing pages about. Being the most local result in a place Google has trouble filling is a real advantage.
Most of my work is septic and well. Can the site lead with that?
It should. Those are the searches with the least competition and the highest intent in this area, and a page that says the words plainly ranks. They get written during the trial from what you tell me about the work.
Can I keep my domain and my Google reviews?
Yes to both. The domain keeps its search history and the Google profile with your reviews stays yours. I clean it up and connect it to the new site. Nothing you've earned resets.
How fast will I show up for "roofer Wales WI"?
Faster than most places. There's little competition for Wales itself, so a complete profile and a page written for the village can show in weeks. The broader Waukesha County terms take months. Run the free audit and you'll see where you stand today.
Can we meet in person?
Yes. Wales is 10 minutes down Highway 83 from my desk, and I'm through it constantly. Your shop, your kitchen table, or a job site, whatever's easiest. Book fifteen minutes or run the audit first so we have something to look at.
