Web Design forMilwaukee Contractors

The $2,500 implementation waived through Oct 21, then one published monthly price. Priced for a contractor, not for a downtown agency's rent.

TLDR
  • For contractors working the metro: Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, West Allis, Brookfield, Greenfield, Franklin, Oak Creek, Menomonee Falls.
  • Site, Google Business Profile, listings, and lead forms built during the trial. $97 a month after, month to month, cancel by email.
  • You own the domain, hosting, and content. No agency platform you can't leave.
  • I'm 30 minutes west on I-94. Meetings happen at your shop, not in a conference room you're paying for.
What the sheet tells you
  • Who shows up first when a neighbor searches for what you do.Google's answer and the AI answer, with names. Whether one of them is you.
  • Where you lose them.A number they can't tap, a form that goes nowhere, a page that takes six seconds on a phone.
  • What to fix first. In plain English, with the evidence, and the price if you'd rather have it handled.

Milwaukee agency quality. Without the Milwaukee agency invoice.

Search "web design Milwaukee" and the results are agencies in the Third Ward and Walker's Point with beautiful portfolios and pricing built for hospitals, breweries, and manufacturers. A contractor who calls gets a $6,000 to $15,000 proposal, a six week timeline, and a retainer. That's the right product for a brewery. It's the wrong product for a two-truck HVAC company in West Allis.

This page is for that company. Roofers in Bay View, plumbers covering Wauwatosa and Brookfield, electricians in Franklin and Oak Creek, remodelers working the bungalows on the south side and the Tudors in Shorewood. You need a site that loads fast on a phone, shows real work, ranks for your trade plus your neighborhood, and hands off the lead the moment it lands. You don't need a brand strategy deck.

So the price is a contractor's price: the $2,500 implementation, waived through Oct 21, then $97 a month for Run or $297 for Grow. Published, not quoted. And the build is a contractor's build: a page per service, a page per area you cover, a Google Business Profile done properly, listings that agree with each other, forms that email and text you.

The $2,500 implementation, waived. $97 a month to keep it working.

Fixed and published, not invented once someone sees how the truck out front looks. For context, what a contractor website around here actually costs:

$400-$2,000

A templated build: a theme flipped on Wix or WordPress with your logo dropped in. Profile, listings, and tracking rarely included.

$2,000-$6,500

A custom build from a regional agency, one time, with a monthly retainer quoted after the fact for anything ongoing.

Implementation waived, then $97/mo

Run, mine. A website built for your trade, your Google Business Profile done properly, the listings that matter (Google, Facebook, Apple Maps, Bing), forms that email you the moment a lead lands, and a lead inbox. Missed-call text-back, review requests, and the monthly agent work are on Grow at $297. Built during the trial, on your own domain.

Both plans are itemized on the plans page. You own everything.

Fourteen days of trial. Then the honest part.

Sheet 07 · Field notes
Delafield quadrangle

Milwaukee is a neighborhood-by-neighborhood search.

Nobody in Milwaukee searches "plumber Milwaukee" and picks from the whole city. They search "plumber Bay View" or "plumber Wauwatosa" or just "plumber near me" and let the map decide. That changes how the site gets built. Instead of one service-area paragraph naming twenty suburbs, you get a real page for each area you actually work, with the jobs that show up there: sewer laterals and clay pipe on the east side, generator installs and sump work in the newer western suburbs, flat roofs on the commercial corridors along 27th Street and Capitol Drive.

The Google Business Profile carries more of the load in a metro this size. Milwaukee has hundreds of licensed contractors per trade and the map pack shows three. Categories, service areas, hours, photos, and review responses are the difference between being in that three and being on page two. I set the profile up during the trial and keep it current after, which is most of what the $97 buys.

Being 30 minutes west matters less than you'd think and more than an out-of-state agency would admit. I can be at your shop in Menomonee Falls or your job site in Franklin the same day. I know the difference between the north shore and the south side when I'm writing your copy. And I'm not paying Third Ward rent, which is why the number on this page is what it is.

Questions Milwaukee contractors actually ask.

How much does web design cost in Milwaukee?

Downtown agencies quote $6,000 to $15,000 or more for a custom site, plus a monthly retainer. Smaller Milwaukee shops and freelancers run $1,500 to $5,000. Template builders are a few hundred. Mine is the $2,500 implementation, waived through Oct 21, then $97 a month, all in, with the monthly work itemized on this page. Same price for a one-truck operation in Cudahy as for a twenty-truck company in Brookfield.

Why would a Milwaukee contractor hire a web designer in Delafield?

Because you're buying a contractor site, not a downtown address. I build only for contractors, the price is published, and Delafield is 30 minutes from anywhere in the metro. If you want a full-service agency with a video team and a brand strategist, hire one downtown; that's a different product at a different price. If you want a fast site that ranks for your trade and your neighborhoods and hands you the leads, this is it.

Can you build separate pages for the neighborhoods and suburbs I work?

Yes, and I'd push you to. A real page for Wauwatosa or Bay View, with the jobs common there and photos from your work there, beats one paragraph listing every suburb in the metro. I write them from what you tell me about each area. What I won't do is spin out fifty near-identical pages; Google penalizes that, and so would your customers.

How long does a contractor website take in Milwaukee?

It's built during the 14-day trial: the site, the Google Business Profile, and the listings. What takes longer is Google recognizing it: map visibility in weeks, organic rankings in months, and in a market Milwaukee's size that's true no matter who you hire.

Do you handle Google Business Profile and reviews too, or just the website?

Both. The profile is set up or cleaned up during the trial, and keeping it current is part of the monthly. Review requests after each job are on the Grow plan, sent by text with your approval on the wording. I don't write reviews and I don't buy them.

What if my company works both Milwaukee and Waukesha County?

Most do. The site gets an area page for each side, the Google profile gets the right service area drawn on it, and the listings match. If your shop is in Waukesha County and you work into the city, the Waukesha and Lake Country pages on this site describe the same build from that side of the county line.

Do I own the site if I stop paying?

Yes. The domain is in your name, the hosting login is yours, the content is yours. Stopping is an email. The monthly work stops and the site keeps running on your accounts. That's in the agreement, not just on this page.
