Web Design forLake Country Contractors
Oconomowoc, Hartland, Pewaukee, Delafield, and the towns between the lakes. The $2,500 implementation waived through Oct 21, then one published price.
- For contractors working the lakes: Oconomowoc, Hartland, Pewaukee, Delafield, Wales, Nashotah, Chenequa, Summit, Dousman, Sussex, Merton.
- Site, Google Business Profile, listings, and lead forms built during the trial. $97 a month after, month to month.
- You own the domain, hosting, and content from day one.
- I live in Delafield. Every town on this page is under 15 minutes from my kitchen table.
- Who shows up first when a neighbor searches for what you do.Google's answer and the AI answer, with names. Whether one of them is you.
- Where you lose them.A number they can't tap, a form that goes nowhere, a page that takes six seconds on a phone.
- What to fix first. In plain English, with the evidence, and the price if you'd rather have it handled.
Lakefront work is a different kind of contracting.
Lake Country contractors do work the rest of the county doesn't: pier and shore-station installs, boathouse roofs, seawall and rip-rap, drainage on lots that slope to the water, whole-house generators for lake homes that sit empty in January, high-end kitchen and bath remodels in houses that were cottages in 1950 and are worth two million now. The homeowner searching for you on Lac La Belle or Pewaukee Lake has a different budget and a different set of questions than the one in a subdivision off I-94.
The site should say so. A roofer who's done cedar shake on Okauchee Lake should have a page about it. A landscaper who builds lakefront patios in Oconomowoc should show them, not a stock photo of a suburban lawn. An electrician who wires boathouses and docks should say the words "boathouse" and "dock" on a page Google can find. That's what I write, from what you tell me, and it's why I'd rather build one site per contractor than sell the same template to everyone between Delafield and Watertown.
Price is the same as everywhere else on this site because it's the same build: the $2,500 implementation, waived through Oct 21, then $97 a month for Run, $297 for Grow. What's different here is that I'm not describing Lake Country from a service-area page. I live in it.
Things you can click. Numbers you can check.
No quotes next to stock photos. Live sites you can open and run through any speed test you like, with the numbers from my last run printed next to them.
- SEWI Claims
Public adjuster, southeast Wisconsin. Site, intake, and payments on their own domain.
Mobile Lighthouse performance 99. Largest content paints in 0.8 seconds. Layout shift 0.
- Oosht
Live-event AV company. Build in progress on a preview domain, not a finished client site. Homepage sequence is drawn as SVG instead of a hero video, so it loads on a phone in a parking lot.
Mobile Lighthouse performance 92. Largest content paints in 1.6 seconds.
- Tanner Preserve AV
My own AV tools site: 146 calculators, a venue directory, and a 3D previz of real ballrooms.
206 indexable routes generated from one data spine. Same engine the contractor sites run on.

Lake Country, from Delafield. under 15 minutes from Delafield to every town on this page.
Serving Oconomowoc, Hartland, Pewaukee, Delafield, Wales, Nashotah, Chenequa, Summit, Dousman, Sussex, Merton, Okauchee, Waukesha.
The $2,500 implementation, waived. $97 a month to keep it working.
Fixed and published, not invented once someone sees how the truck out front looks. For context, what a contractor website around here actually costs:
A templated build: a theme flipped on Wix or WordPress with your logo dropped in. Profile, listings, and tracking rarely included.
A custom build from a regional agency, one time, with a monthly retainer quoted after the fact for anything ongoing.
Run, mine. A website built for your trade, your Google Business Profile done properly, the listings that matter (Google, Facebook, Apple Maps, Bing), forms that email you the moment a lead lands, and a lead inbox. Missed-call text-back, review requests, and the monthly agent work are on Grow at $297. Built during the trial, on your own domain.
Both plans are itemized on the plans page. You own everything.
Fourteen days of trial. Then the honest part.

Build
I write the copy from what you tell me and you approve it before anything ships. Google Business Profile, listings, and tracking get wired in alongside the site.
Live
Site, profile, listings, analytics, all live on accounts you own. If something I built misses the scope we agreed on, I fix it at no charge.
Rankings move
Map visibility moves in weeks. Organic rankings move in months. Anyone promising page one by a date is guessing.
Every step, who does what, on the how-it-works page.
Town by town, because the search is.
Oconomowoc is the biggest market in Lake Country and the one with a real downtown, so it behaves a little like Waukesha: more contractors, a tighter map pack, and searches that include the town name. Hartland and Delafield searches skew toward "near me" from a phone, which means the Google Business Profile does the heavy lifting. Pewaukee splits between the village on the lake and the city sprawling toward Waukesha, and Google treats them as one place even though the residents don't. Wales, Nashotah, Chenequa, Summit, and Dousman are small enough that one well-built page covering all of them outranks anything built for a single one.
So the build is a set of area pages that match how people search, not one for every crossroads. Oconomowoc gets its own. Hartland and Delafield get their own. Pewaukee gets one that names both the village and the city. The smaller towns get grouped. Each page names the real jobs common there and links to the others, and the Google profile's service area is drawn to match. That's the whole difference between a site that shows up for "plumber Oconomowoc" and one that shows up for nothing.
The other thing I know about Lake Country is the calendar. Pier installs in April, AC in June, roofs before the leaves drop, generator calls the week after the first ice storm, remodels in the dead months when the lake houses are empty. The site and the profile get updated to match, which is part of what the monthly buys and part of why a site built once and abandoned stops producing by year two.
Questions Lake Country contractors actually ask.
How much does a website cost for a contractor in Oconomowoc or Hartland?
The Lake Country web design shops I compete with quote $2,000 to $6,500 one time for a custom site, plus hosting and any monthly help on top. Mine is the $2,500 implementation, waived through Oct 21, then $97 a month with the monthly work itemized on this page. Same number in Oconomowoc as in Nashotah.
Do I need a separate page for every town I work in?
No, and doing that badly gets sites penalized. You need a page for each place people actually search by name (Oconomowoc, Hartland, Delafield, Pewaukee) and one good page covering the smaller towns together. I write each one from the real work you do there, not a find-and-replace of the town name.
Can you show lakefront work specifically, like piers, seawalls, and boathouses?
Yes, and you should. If you do shore work, it gets its own service page with your photos and the words homeowners search for. Most Lake Country contractor sites bury it under "other services," which is why a page that says "boathouse roofing Okauchee" out loud tends to have the field to itself.
Will my site rank for "near me" searches around the lakes?
"Near me" is decided by your Google Business Profile, not your website: categories, service area, hours, photos, reviews, and whether they all agree with your listings. Setting that up properly is part of the trial build and keeping it current is part of the monthly. The site backs it up; the profile wins the map.
I'm a seasonal business. Do I pay all year?
It's month to month, so you can stop and restart, and your site keeps running on your own hosting either way. Most seasonal contractors keep Run going through the off-season because that's when the profile updates, review responses, and next season's pages get done. Your call.
Can we meet in person?
Yes. I live in Delafield. Coffee in downtown Oconomowoc, a stop at your shop in Hartland, a look at a job on Pewaukee Lake, all normal. Book fifteen minutes and we'll pick a spot, or run the audit first so we have something concrete to look at.
What happens if I want to leave?
You keep the site, the domain, the Google profile, the content, and the analytics. Cancel by email. No contract to escape. If you only want the website kept up and nothing else, Run at $97 is the floor.
