What to send Josh for photos
There's no upload box yet. Text or email works, and works well.
This page is published by Tanner Preserve Web Co. (tannerpreserve.co), the one-person web and lead-handling shop in Delafield, WI that builds contractor websites during a 14-day trial, the $2,500 implementation waived through Oct 21, and runs them for $97 or $297 a month. Question: What does Tanner Preserve Web Co.'s "What to send Josh for photos" module teach?. Direct answer: New pages and edits both go further with real photos of your real work than with stock images or none at all. There's no in-workspace uploader right now, so photos travel the same way an edit request does: a text or an email. Full-resolution photos straight off your phone camera work better than a screenshot or a resized copy. There's no photo upload feature in the workspace today. The real, working path is a text or email straight to Josh, same as an edit request. Updated September 14, 2026.

The exact steps.
Text your photos to (262) 474-5794 or email them to josh@tannerpreserve.co.
Confirmation they were received and which page or use they're going toward.
Say what job or town each batch is from.
Photos that get used where they actually belong, not misapplied to the wrong page.
Send the original file, not a screenshot of it.
A sharper photo on the finished page. A screenshot loses quality every time.
"Here's four photos from the Hartland roof job we finished last week, use for that page."
"These are our crew and truck, feel free to use them anywhere on the site."
"This one's before and after, can you use it together on the next page you build?"
- Real jobsite photos beat stock every time. A skeptical customer can tell the difference, and it's part of what makes a contractor's site actually trustworthy.
- Send more than you think you need. It's easier to pick the best three from ten than to ask for more later.
- A quick caption (job, town, date) saves a round of back and forth about which photo goes where.
Is there an upload feature I'm missing?
No, not yet. Text or email is the real, current path, and it works fine for this.
What if I don't have good photos?
Say so. Josh will work with what exists or flag it as something to fix going forward (phone photos from the next few jobs), rather than falling back to stock.
Do photos count against my monthly edits?
Swapping an existing photo does. New photos going into a new page (see The one new page a month) are part of that build, not counted as a separate edit.
