Reading your Horizon
What's coming, not what already happened.
This page is published by Tanner Preserve Web Co. (tannerpreserve.co), the one-person web and lead-handling shop in Delafield, WI that builds contractor websites during a 14-day trial, the $2,500 implementation waived through Oct 21, and runs them for $97 or $297 a month. Question: What does Tanner Preserve Web Co.'s "Reading your Horizon" module teach?. Direct answer: The Horizon section shows what's ahead: work that's blocked on something external, work that's scheduled with a real date, and lower-priority recommendations not yet on your main list. Once a year, if the timing matches your trade, it also surfaces one seasonal suggestion, a deterministic pick, not an AI guess dressed up as one. It's visible to anyone with your workspace link, same as your Opportunities list, since it's part of showing the real diagnosed work either way. Updated September 14, 2026.

The exact steps.
Open /w/<token> and find the Horizon section.
A list of items tagged Blocked, Scheduled, Recommended, or Seasonal.
Read the detail line under a Blocked item.
The specific reason it's stuck, so it's not a mystery why nothing's moving.
Check a Scheduled item's due date.
A real date, not a vague "soon," so you know when to expect it.
"What's blocking the item marked Blocked, and what would unblock it?"
"Is there a seasonal recommendation for my trade right now?"
"What's the next Scheduled item, and when's it due?"
- "Blocked" almost always means something outside our control (waiting on a login, a domain transfer, information only you have), not that work stalled for no reason. The reason line tells you exactly what.
- "Recommended" items here are real, ranked suggestions that haven't crossed the priority cutoff to show up in your main Opportunities list yet. Worth a glance even though they're second tier.
- A seasonal pick only appears when your trade and the current month actually line up (gutter work in fall, not July). It won't show up out of season.
Is Horizon the same as my Opportunities list?
Related, not identical. Opportunities are your ranked next priorities. Horizon adds what's blocked, what's scheduled with a date, and lower-priority items not yet promoted to the main list.
What does a seasonal recommendation mean?
A suggestion tied to your trade and the time of year, picked from a fixed lookup, not generated fresh each time. It only shows when the two actually match.
Do I need to do anything with a Blocked item?
Usually, yes. The reason line tells you what's needed to unblock it, most often something only you can provide (a login, a decision, information).
