Request reviews after a job
One request in the hub, a call and a text go out for you.
This page is published by Tanner Preserve Web Co. (tannerpreserve.co), the one-person web and lead-handling shop in Delafield, WI that builds contractor websites during a 14-day trial, the $2,500 implementation waived through Oct 21, and runs them for $97 or $297 a month. Question: What does Tanner Preserve Web Co.'s "Request reviews after a job" module teach?. Direct answer: From the hub's Reviews page, you enter a customer's name and phone number for a job you just finished. The system calls them and texts them a direct link to leave a Google review, sent from your own number and name once your texting is fully set up, or clearly on your behalf otherwise. Every request you send gets logged, so there's a record of who's been asked and when. Updated September 14, 2026.

The exact steps.
Sign into your hub and open the Reviews page.
A simple form: customer name and phone number.
Enter the name and number for the customer whose job you just finished.
A call to them, followed by a text with your Google review link.
Check the Reviews page again the next day.
Confirmation the request went out, logged with the rest of your work history.
Send the request the same day you finish the job, while the work is fresh in the customer's mind.
Use the customer's actual first name so the text reads like it came from a person, because it did.
If a job runs long, wait until it's actually done. A request sent mid-project reads as premature.
- There's a daily cap on requests (5 a day) so it can't be used to blast a whole customer list at once. That's by design, not a limitation worth working around.
- The text discloses who it's from honestly: your business's own name once your own texting number is live, or Tanner Preserve on your behalf until then. Nobody sends a text pretending to be a customer's contractor from a number that isn't actually that contractor's.
- A request works best the same week as the job. Three months later, the ask lands colder.
Do I need my customer's email, or just their phone number?
Just their phone number. The request is a call plus a text, not an email.
How many review requests can I send a day?
Five. It's a deliberate cap so the tool can't be used to mass-text a customer list in one sitting.
Does the text say it's from me or from Tanner Preserve?
It says whichever is actually true. Once your business has its own registered texting number, it goes out under your name from your number. Until then, it goes out honestly on your behalf.
