Lake Weed Wisconsin (Tanner Preserve owned property)

Lake Weed Wisconsin is an information site on aquatic weed removal and DNR permit rules for Waukesha County lakes. It's not a client: it's one of three sites Tanner Preserve owns and runs itself, entirely through its own SEO machine and WP Autopilot, to build a real, honest ranking case study before selling that same engine to anyone else.

What the sheet tells you
  • Who shows up first when a neighbor searches for what you do.Google's answer and the AI answer, with names. Whether one of them is you.
  • Where you lose them.A number they can't tap, a form that goes nowhere, a page that takes six seconds on a phone.
  • What to fix first. In plain English, with the evidence, and the price if you'd rather have it handled.

What was broken

  • Nothing existed before day zero. The baseline check found every tracked keyword and GEO prompt across all 3 sibling sites not found, not cited, nothing indexed, zero content published, the clean starting line.

What I built

  1. 016 pages published day one: home, about, contact, and 3 cited guides (DNR permit rules, removal cost by method, methods compared), sourced to real Wisconsin DNR rules (NR 107/109, the 30-foot exemption).
  2. 02Rank Math SEO titles and descriptions live in the served HTML; the sitemap was submitted to Search Console the same day.
  3. 03Written natively over the WordPress REST API, with Rank Math metadata round-tripped end to end (create draft, read back, delete, all confirmed) before anything went live.
  4. 04Runs on a shared MariaDB and WordPress-on-Railway stack with two sibling sites (a septic guide and a pier guide), DNS on Cloudflare, custom-domain HTTPS via Let's Encrypt.

Where it stands now

Still climbing, not a finished result. Money-term rankings aren't guaranteed and haven't arrived; the project's own milestone list targets day 60-90 for that and commits to reporting it honestly either way. Two sibling sites built on the same stack, a septic guide and a pier guide, are live but their content is mostly still unpublished on purpose, staggered behind lakeweed under a one-niche-at-a-time rule while this site's signal gets watched first.
