INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIOHARTLAND & LAKE COUNTRY, WISCONSIN

A Lake Country house, room by room

We design the rooms people actually live in around Lake Country: linen that softens with wear, larch and oak that age instead of scuff, and north light left alone to do the work.

How a room gets chosen

We start with one room and the light it gets, not a moodboard. Linen, oak, and glaze samples sit on the table beside your own furniture for a week before anything is ordered, so the choice survives a Wisconsin winter and a lake house summer both.
